Got pressure?

“God’s answer to pressure is prayer.

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

19 For I am well assured and indeed know that through your prayers and a [a]bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) this will turn out for my preservation (for the spiritual health and [b]welfare of my own soul) and avail toward the saving work of the Gospel.

Philippians 1:9 (Amplified Bible)

In Philippians 1:9 Paul wrote from prison saying he knew through prayer he could be delivered. Paul was feeling the pressure of being in a circumstance that was completely beyond his control. Yet he chose to believe that prayer was the answer to his situation. He knew that prayer was going to release a powerful supply of God’s power. When we are under pressure we can decide to cry, complain, become hopeless or we can reach out to God in prayer. Prayer changes things!

I will pray and receive God’s peace. I will walk in tranquility no matter what I see or understand about the situation I face.
